As owner and managing director of Hope & Hope Ltd I have focused on and lead the creation of what is today the most advanced, automated plastic injection moulding facility in Australia .
At Hope & Hope we now manufacture from raw material to palletised, finished product in an unmanned environment 16 hours per day on week days, and 20 hours per day on weekends, utilising 29 moulding machines.
Our primary markets are in single use, injection moulded plastic consumables for the medical, laboratory industries, with secondary markets in food, wine and cosmetics.
"To achieve our production goal of full automation, has required an almost obsessive focus on managing production and development issues. This focus has come at the expense of managing financial issues. As each goal has been achieved on the production floor, enabling exceptional turnover and company growth, the financial information has become more inadequate.
